Principal's Corner
Mr. Steven Ruzic was named the Principal of Warner Robins Middle School during the Houston County Board of Education meeting held January 14, 2025.
“I would like to thank Dr. Scott, Dr. Rogers, and the Board of Education for this wonderful opportunity,” said Ruzic. “I am excited and humbled to be back home at Warner Robins Middle School where the students, staff, and community have always felt like family. Warner Robins Middle School holds a special place in my heart. I look forward to working with everyone to continue the traditions of Warrior Nation. Once a Warrior, always a Warrior.”
Ruzic has been an educator since 1996. He has served as a teacher at Kings Chapel Elementary, Warner Robins High, Veterans High, and Warner Robins Middle School. Before being named as an Assistant Principal at Bonaire Middle School, he served as an Assistant Principal at Centerville Elementary School and Quail Run Elementary School.
Ruzic is a proud product of the Houston County School District. After graduating from Northside High School, he received his bachelor's degree in education from Georgia College and State University. He also holds a master’s degree in Teaching and Learning from Nova Southeastern University, a specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont College, and a degree in Educational Leadership through Columbus State University. He and his wife, Wendy, have two sons named Steven and Austin (Libby), and they are the proud grandparents of Sutton.
