Bio

Mrs. Demetria Hayes, a native of Schley County, Georgia, is a dedicated educator with a strong academic and professional background. She graduated from Tri-County High School and went on to earn a B.S.Ed. in Middle Grades Education, an M.Ed. in Reading (K–12), and an Ed.S. in Middle Grades Education, all from Georgia Southwestern State University. Mrs. Hayes began her teaching career in 2002 at Sumter County Middle School in Americus, Georgia. Since 2008, she has been a valued member of the Warner Robins Middle School community. Over the years, she has served as a Language Arts and Social Studies teacher, English Language Arts Department Chair, Gifted Department C0-chair, and a member of the Leadership Team.
