I began my teaching career in 1996 at Feagin Mill Middle School. I taught Science and Social Studies as well as coaching cheer. Then, I transferred to Thomson Middle School and taught Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies, as well as coaching cheer. In 2012, I moved to Atlanta and taught for ten years in Fulton County Schools at Paul D. West Middle School, where I taught Science, as well as coached soccer, tennis, and gymnastics. After being selected as the 2014 - 2015 Teacher of the Year, I transferred to Hopewell Middle School in Milton. There, I taught Science, STEM and Journalism. In 2022, I moved back home and began teaching English Language Arts at Warner Robins Middle School.
